2009 U23 Development Program

USFooty Development program is designed to develop younger Australian footballers to play senior football in USFooty clubs, the US national representative teams, and elite football in Australia.

In 2009 we will have a one day program for players aged 15 to 23 to be held on Friday October 9 in Mason OH. The one-day program will be run in conjunction with US Revolution coaching staff and will include coaching and mentoring from US Revolution Head Coach Matt Bishop, Revolution assistant coaches such as Jason Becker (Minnesota), USFooty club coaches such Aaron Tyndall (BW Eagles), Jason Heathcote (NC Tigers) and Marty Thompson (Nashville), and Revolution players such as Dan Sarbacker (Milwaukee), Andy Vanica (Milwaukee) and Luke Nemeth (Nashville), as well as Dale Ballantyne from WACFL and Claremont FC.
Note that while there will be a session on the track, it will be light as everyone is well aware of that there are some important games of footy over the weekend.

Agenda:
10.30 am Introduction to USFooty (Kings Is Resort)
12.00 pm Lunch provided (Kings Is Resort)
1.30 pm Skills academy (Heritage Oak Park)
2.30 pm "Game Sense" skills (Heritage Oak Park)

The program is offered free, but players will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Program staff may be able to assist with coordinating accommodation on Thursday October 8.
